Fermenting Room

This is the fermenting room. In the background is the 90 gallon fermenter where the beer is fermented during its most active stage. In front of this is the conditioner. The beer is transferred here from the fermenter to finish off fermentation in a sealed container. The final amount of carbon dioxide produced stays over the beer here to condition it and prevent air entering. In the foreground is the cooler which circulates cold water through thin pipe work concealed within the fermenter and conditioner to keep the fermentation process at the correct temperature.
